For the fourth time in a row, the company Holzakzente is among the "outstanding medium-sized companies and representatives from the region Bavaria".
In 2017, a total of 994 companies and representatives of the region were nominated for the competition "Grand Prix of medium-sized companies". Nobody can register for participation, but an external nomination is required.
The "Grand Prix of medium-sized companies" is awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation since 1995 and evaluates companies as a whole in a competition. Not only the economic development of the companies plays a role, but also creation and securing of jobs and apprenticeships, modernization and innovations, commitment in the region as well as service, customer proximity and marketing.
All these aspects are considered and evaluated individually and each company is rated by an independent jury of several members. Performances in all five criteria are demanded from the companies, which stand out from the crowd.
The competition lasts several months and consists of three reachable levels:
Level 1 is the nomination, which can only be initiated by third parties.
Level 2 is the jury stage. The jury examines the nominated companies and already makes the decision if the company ranks among the best of the best. Only a small part of the nominated companies reach this level.
Level 3 consists in the award itself. The limited number of award winners or finalists are then selected from the companies of the jury stage and honored.
Over the past three years, the company Holzakzente ranked among the best of the best and is again nominated for participation in 2017. We are very happy about the nomination and we are proud to participate again and to reflect our company.
